Just a practice run. Your real sheet is next.
That’s how parents sign up.
Now make your sheet.
Someone offered to bring cups.
Somewhere in the group chat.
RoomMom keeps the list outside the conversation. What’s needed. Who’s bringing it. What’s still open.
List what you need.
Name the occasion. Add what you need, one slot per line. Snacks, supplies, or an extra pair of hands.
Share the link.
Copy your sheet’s link into the class group text. Everyone opens the same signup, right on their phone.
See who’s signed up.
Parents pick a slot and add their name. See what’s covered and what’s still needed.
One less thing
to figure out.
Do parents need an account?
No. Parents open your shared link, choose a slot, and enter their name. That’s it.
What if someone’s plans change?
Parents can unclaim a slot from the same browser they used to claim it. As the organizer, you can also clear a claim from your sheet.
How do I get back to my sheet?
Log in with the same email address. We’ll send a sign-in link that takes you back to your sheet. No password needed.
What’s the next thing
your class needs?
Start with the occasion. Add the slots. Send the link.
